Playing with different shades of eye shadows is always fascinating, especially with the extra zing that they add to our beautiful eyes. Today, you can find an entire range of cosmetic brands offering you over hundreds of eye shadow colors to suit your beautiful eyes. Purchasing any of these high brand eye shadows such as the Maybelline eye shadow or the bourjois eye shadow costs an entire fortune. However, you can always find cheaper quality eye shadows in the market to suit your skin and eyes. But, it’s always better to have brands that you have your faith in and which promise to offer you the best eye shadow range. Apart from this, you also have the choice of making your own range of eye shadows. Well, if you want to try your hand on making eye shadows, then here is a small procedure that you can follow to make your entire range of exotic eye shadows.
* Eye shadows are merely a proportionate mix of a Powder base, Mica Pigment and finally a Powder Binder. A proper mix of each of these ingredients helps you to make a home based eye shadow. Powder Binder helps the other ingredients to stick together and hence also to your eye lids.
* Mixing the eye shadows is very simple and easy. You can mix them in a compact mini grinder, usually used to mix herbs or tobacco. The mini grinder helps you to mix the added proportions of your eye shadow ingredients and thus give a fine mix.
* Now that your desired color is finely mixed, you should now decide if you want a pressed eye shadow. Usually a pressed eye shadow includes two essential extra items, namely a metal mini press and a spray powder binder. The spray powder binder helps the powder particles to bind together while the metal press allows the shadow to stay in the pan. The spray binders are best as compared to water or alcohol as they cause a dry effect on the eye lids. Once this is done, you spray the binder and mix the powders together, it is ready to be filled into an empty container.
* Now that you have filled it in an empty container, press it with a mini press or possibly a spoon.
That’s it. With these simple steps you have finally finished making your home made best eye shadow range.
